FRONT
Check the action of the fork by operating the front brake and compressing the front suspension several times. Check the entire fork assembly for signs of leaks, damage or loose fasteners. Replace damaged components which cannot be repaired and tighten all nuts and bolts.

REAR
Support the motorcycle securely using a lift or hoist and raise the rear wheel off the ground. Check for worn swingarm bearings by grabbing the rear wheel and attempting to move the wheel side to side. Replace the bearings if any looseness is noted.

Check the action of the shock absorbers by compressing them several times. Check the entire shock absorber assembly for signs of leaks, damage or loose fasteners. Replace damaged components which connot be reapired and tighten all nuts and bolts.
