Since I turned my ace into a bobber I dont have any way of attaching saddle bags to rear of the bike and on the 03 there seems to be a lack of attachment points

in front of the rear shocks. Has anyone had any luck finding a bag and placement on these bikes that isn't a saddle bag?

Im thinking about fabricating an "L shaped bracket to attach at the rear peg and the side cover mount.  Because I have a custom side cover that bolts on this would allow for

a horizontal attachment point and keep the bag high enough for plenty of clearance but the rear peg mount may be out too far for this to work.

 Any ideas?

A DIY version: http://www.750ace.co...ic-heavy/page-7

A support plate from the peg mount and side cover bolt sounds like a way that might open up the possibility of using a bag intended for a H-D or even a bicycle frame bag.

There are folks on Etsy that will do custom bags at a price.

If you are into re-purposing with possible modifications, check out military surplus/tactical bags, all kinds of shapes, sizes and materials out there.
